Super bowl

Over the years it has become a little tradition to have a Super Bowl party. Last year was my first year to use my Thermomix and I went all out.

We had zucchini fritters, football shaped pepperoni pizza, chilli con carne, guacamole and salsa. And for dessert I dipped strawberries in Quirky Cooking’s raw chocolate and made them into little footballs.

The perks of being a Thermomix consultant

I recently wrote about how one of the perks of being a consultant is being part of the final testing phase of the new Thermomix Recipe Platform. This made me realize I haven’t shared with you the perks of being a Thermomix consultant.

When I share my story about becoming a Thermomix consultant I share how it helped balance out the negativity I experienced in my full-time job. For me this was the biggest perk – sharing my passion and bringing joy into people’s lives. Continue reading

Total Cook Time

TMX TIPS_Total Cook Time

Have you ever started a recipe only to find the next step needs half an hour for the dough to prove or it needed to be done the night before?

To avoid the stress of this happening always check the total cook time of a Thermomix recipe.

The active cook time may be nice and short (and that’s what we love about using a Thermomix) but cooking can be a fine art and there are some steps that need more time before the master piece can be created. Continue reading

Acai bowl

acai bowl
I love acai bowls and I love how easy they are to make in your Thermomix! It’s so easy to add whatever flavours you are in the mood for and then add all sorts of toppings to make it look too good to eat!

Acai (pronounced ah-sigh-ee) is a berry from the Amazon that is often touted as the most anti-oxidant rich fruit in the world. You can buy this popular superfood in powder form from your local health store and while it is expensive, a little goes a long way :)

So if you haven’t tried an acai bowl yet I definitely recommend you make one now.

I love this simple recipe from Thermobliss and add an extra 100g coconut water mid blend. So delicious and such a great way to start the day (especially if it’s a hot one!)
